Thai GL Series List (2025) Part 1

Thai GL Series have been gaining remarkable traction year after year, capturing the hearts of fans in Thailand and across the globe. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just starting your journey, it’s essential to stay updated.

With a growing number of productions, bold storylines, and fan-favorite couples returning, 2025 is shaping up to be a huge year for Thai GL Series. The variety of genres and casts continues to expand.

Because so many new series are coming, we’ve split this list into three parts. Each part features upcoming titles with different vibes, themes, and production styles.

In this first post, you’ll find long-awaited reunions, exciting new pairings, and ambitious projects. From major studios to indie releases, this list highlights series that are already making waves.

Let’s dive into Part 1 of our 2025 Thai GL Series list and see what’s waiting on the horizon.

1- 4 Elements
One of the most ambitious Thai GL Series in the works, 4 Elements is set to be a multi-story project produced by Idol Factory. It adapts four novels by the popular author Salmon, all connected by a shared elemental theme.

Each story explores a different type of romance. In “Water,” two business rivals fall in love while seeking revenge. “Air” tells the tale of a guarded princess and her bodyguard finding love against all odds.

“Earth” features an age-gap romance born out of a marriage to protect a younger sister. In “Fire,” a childhood grudge turns into a slow-burning love story between two old enemies.

Fans will recognize big-name pairings in every element. Engfa and Charlotte, Freen and Becky, Apple and Mim, Namneung and Noey will each lead one story.

The series will close with a special episode uniting all eight characters in a shared narrative. With a single director overseeing every arc, 4 Elements promises cohesion, depth, and drama.

Scheduled for release in 2025, this project has already sparked high expectations within the GL fandom—especially for those craving variety in storytelling and strong female leads.

2- Somewhere Somehow
Fay and May, the dreamers who won hearts in My Marvellous Dream Is You, return in Somewhere Somehow, a romantic comedy set to air in July 2025. Produced by Idol Factory, the show offers a fresh take on second chances and unexpected reunions.

Fay stars as Kie, a brilliant but modest engineer. May plays Pheem, a demanding and sharp-tongued vice president at a major beauty company. Their worlds collide when work brings them back into each other’s lives.

Years ago, Kie had a crush on Pheem during college. Now, they must navigate power dynamics, personal growth, and buried feelings—all while balancing office chaos and clashing personalities.

Somewhere Somehow promises more than just laughs. Like many Thai GLs, it blends comedy with emotional depth, exploring how time changes people—and how some feelings never really fade.

Fans of My Marvellous Dream Is You will enjoy seeing Fay and May in a more mature, yet equally charming light. With witty writing and heartfelt moments, this show might just become the next comfort series for GL lovers.

3- Only You The Series
Following the breakout success of The Secret of Us, Ling and Orm reunite in Only You The Series, set to premiere on July 4, 2025. Produced by Channel 3 Thailand, this original GL blends romance, action, and suspense.

Ling plays Tawan, a determined police officer tasked with protecting Aira, portrayed by Orm. But Aira isn’t just any assignment—she’s Tawan’s great love, and danger lurks around every corner.

As threats intensify, so do their feelings. Between high-stakes missions and near-death moments, the bond between Tawan and Aira deepens, forcing them to confront both external enemies and inner fears.

Unlike most Thai GLs, Only You takes a bold turn into action-thriller territory. Yet it keeps its heart rooted in love, loyalty, and the strength it takes to protect what matters.

With its cinematic edge and a powerful duo at the center, this series could reshape how we see GL storytelling—showing that love stories can be both tender and adrenaline-filled.

4- Player The Series
Player The Series is set to release in 2025 and is adapted from the novel Player by SIIX. Produced by Heart Pop Studio, it stars Memi as Pun Punnakorn and Ice as Ploy Pitcha Pariyakorn.

Pun’s life spirals out of control when Pethai, the man she hired for a fake marriage, steals her money and disappears into the arms of a mafia. Now back in Thailand, she’s determined to find him and get answers.

Her only hope lies with Ploy, a sharp-witted actress who holds the secrets Pun needs. To uncover the truth, Pun must win Ploy’s heart. But the more she tries to manipulate Ploy, the more she falls for her.

What starts as a game of strategy turns into a whirlwind romance. Pun soon realizes she might not be the only player—Ploy may be two steps ahead all along.

This series promises a thrilling mix of romance, suspense, and unexpected twists. Player The Series offers an exciting exploration of love and deception in the GL genre.

5- Girl Rules
Expected to air in 2025, Girl Rules is GMMTV’s highly anticipated original GL series. With a star-studded cast—including Namtan and Film (from Pluto), Milk and Love (from Netflix’s 23.5), and View and Mim (from US)—the series is set to explore the tangled web of love, rivalry, and friendship between six women.

Each character follows a different life path, from creative industries to high-pressure careers. But despite their distinct trajectories, their lives are deeply connected—by history, heartbreak, and desire.

Some are best friends, others are exes still nursing old wounds. Some are on the edge of falling in love, while others can’t decide if what they have is romance or rivalry. When an ex-girlfriend suddenly returns, emotional chaos unfolds.

As past and present relationships collide, the group is forced to confront unresolved feelings and fragile loyalties. Girl Rules dives into the complexity of female friendships and queer love in a way that feels both fresh and deeply relatable.

With its raw emotional arcs and dynamic ensemble, this series might just be GMMTV’s boldest GL yet.

6- Dream Mind
So far, Dream Mind has only released a pilot on YouTube (via House of Guys), and while it’s labeled “coming soon,” no official 2025 release date has been confirmed. Still, the pilot alone has sparked curiosity with its dreamy atmosphere and cryptic storytelling.
The story begins with Rati (played by Darran), who starts experiencing surreal, vivid dreams after a night out. In these dreams, she meets Karn (Jara), a soft-spoken and mysterious girl. Their encounters feel far too real to be just figments of sleep.
As the dreams repeat, an unsettling question arises: are these simply dreams—or is Rati’s spirit crossing into another world? Karn, bound to that strange realm, becomes desperate to meet Rati outside the dreamscape. But with each morning, reality threatens to pull them apart.
Dream Mind promises a romantic fantasy that blurs the line between what’s real and imagined. It’s tender, disorienting, and full of aching questions: Can love exist across dimensions? And if so, what happens when one of them wakes up?
With a poetic premise and dreamlike visuals, this could become one of the year’s most unique GL narratives—if it ever fully comes to life.

7- Unlimited Love
Imagine a sapphic The Office, but set in Thailand and filled with heart-fluttering glances, miscommunications, and slow-burn chemistry. That’s what Unlimited Love seems ready to deliver. Co-produced by MGI and Channel One, the series is set to have 10 episodes, though as of May 2025, no release date has been announced.

The series will feature multiple couples navigating love and chaos in a shared workplace. At the center of the buzz is the iconic pairing of Engfa and Charlotte, who first captured audiences with Show Me Love in 2023, and later deepened their on-screen dynamic in Love Bully and Petrichor: The Series.

This time, Engfa reportedly plays the boss—a role that promises both authority and unexpected vulnerability. With flirtations brewing around every corner and awkward-yet-endearing moments unfolding in the office setting, this rom-com aims to be light, funny, and filled with chemistry.

While we still don’t know exactly when Unlimited Love will drop, it’s already building anticipation for being a GL with heart, humor, and the kind of everyday romance that feels strangely magical. Whether you come for the laughter or the longing, this series may just end up being your next comfort watch.

8- Harmony Secret
Passion, power, and a rivalry that burns with unexpected longing — Harmony Secret is shaping up to be one of the most intense GLs of the year. After the massive success of Affair, actresses Lookmhee and Sonya reunite under the same production company, CHANGE2561, this time to play ambitious business heiresses on opposing sides of a high-stakes competition.

One comes from a luxury hotel empire, the other from a department store dynasty. Their goal? Win a national duty-free contract. But when they meet, the fire between them isn’t just about business. What begins as tension quickly shifts into a powerful attraction—one neither of them is prepared to face.

The series promises a mix of corporate intrigue, emotional complexity, and undeniable chemistry. With a pilot that already surpassed 5 million views, Harmony Secret is clearly resonating with fans hungry for a mature and emotionally layered sapphic romance.

Expected to air around July, this series isn’t just about two women falling for each other—it’s about confronting ambition, vulnerability, and the cost of choosing love in a world built on competition.

9- Music Story: Losing Control
K11D House is back, and so is the drama. After Lucky My Love and Unlock Your Love, the studio dives even deeper into complex emotions with Music Story: Losing Control — a GL filled with longing, tension, and tangled hearts. The first three episodes premiered on April 23, 2025, and fans won’t have to wait long for more: the continuation is set to arrive in June.

This time, the spotlight falls on a love triangle. Queen (BMine), known for her emotional presence, returns as the center of attention. But now, two new leads enter the scene—Sea (Mekkhala), cool and composed, and Bam (Mashi), fiery and impulsive. As music brings them together, desire threatens to pull them apart.

Losing Control lives up to its name, exploring themes of confusion, desire, and the fear of vulnerability. Every glance feels loaded, every silence speaks volumes. The series captures that moment when feelings can no longer be contained—when love becomes less about harmony and more about dissonance.

If the pilot episodes are any indication, this story won’t hold back. Prepare for heartbreak, surprises, and maybe… clarity in the chaos.
