1. Be Mine: A Dream That Never Opened Its Doors
Announced in 2022, Be Mine quickly created buzz as one of the first Thai GL series to gain traction. It promised interconnected love stories set around a cozy café.
The show featured all the tropes fans love: a grieving woman who opens a café to honor her lost love, roommates caught in unresolved tension, a deal between a businesswoman and a struggling student, and an intern falling for her older boss.
Despite its rich premise, the project never moved forward. In 2024, all lead actresses confirmed they had ended their contracts with IS Entertainment. The studio never officially cancelled the show, but years of silence sent a clear message.
Fans now recognize Be Mine as a missed opportunity and a defining example among the cancelled GL series that held so much promise but quietly disappeared.

2. Let’s Kick This Love: Officially Cancelled
Unlike Be Mine, Let’s Kick This Love left no room for doubt. Be On Cloud officially cancelled the project in March 2025. The studio had planned it as their fresh GL debut, but they ended it before filming began.
The announcement marked another painful entry in the growing list of cancelled GL series in Thailand.

3. About Galaxy: A Fashion-Fueled Mystery Fades
About Galaxy showed real promise as a high-fashion thriller based on Zezeho’s novel. The story explored emotional depth through PTSD, visible and invisible scars, and the unresolved tension between Hongyok and Khunying Note.
The team held a blessing ceremony in early 2025. However, updates stopped shortly after.
Some actresses reportedly ended their contracts with Y Entertainment. Fans still wait, but hope continues to fade. Without closure, the series quietly slips into the growing list of cancelled GL series.

4. Girllove Girlfriend: Deleted Without a Trace
Announced in 2024, Girllove Girlfriend looked like it was moving forward. Reports suggested filming had started by July. Then everything went quiet.
One of the leads auditioned for another show. The official Instagram account disappeared soon after.
Although the studio never confirmed a cancellation, the silence and cast changes speak loudly. The project now seems like another cancelled GL series that quietly slipped away without explanation.

5. Sunshine in the Wind: The Fragrance of Silence
In Sunshine in the Wind, Phraphye could smell emotions through flowers, which led to a romance with movie star Vadthiwa. The story’s unique concept offered something fresh and intriguing.
However, more than a year has passed without any production updates. Studio Wabi Sabi ended the contracts of the main actresses. All signs now point to cancellation.
This series joins the growing list of cancelled GL series, highlighting an unfortunate pattern in the Thai drama scene..

6. The Last Case: Mystery Both On and Off Screen
This GL thriller from Identity Entertainment followed a doctor accused of murder and her defending lawyer. At first, the studio announced plans to seek sponsors. But months have passed without any updates.
Some actresses moved on and auditioned for other roles. Director Apple Lapisara Intarasut shifted her focus to 4 Elements: The Earth (2025).
Now, it seems the case has closed for good. The Last Case quietly joins the list of cancelled GL series that fans hoped would make it to the screen.

7. Step Up: No Movement, Just Static
As the second part of SKIU the Series, Step Up focused on Uro, a T-pop idol, and Fahsai, Maysa’s sister from Love in the Rain. Unfortunately, one of the leads left the project, and updates stopped completely.
The silence speaks louder than a stadium full of fans waiting for news. Step Up now joins the growing list of cancelled GL series in this unfortunate trend.

8. The Perfect Song: Cut Off Mid-Note
The third installment in the SKIU universe, The Perfect Song followed grieving pop star Iris who couldn’t write love songs until she met Mirin.
Then one actress left the project. After that, the studio went silent. No posts, no updates, no closure, just silence.
This series joins the growing list of cancelled GL series, leaving its audience hanging in suspense.

9. The Passenger: Star-Studded but Grounded
A fantasy GL movie starring Freen and Becky promised to be a dream come true. However, director A Natthaphong confirmed its cancellation in October 2024.
The project lost momentum before it even reached the screen, becoming another disappointment among the cancelled GL series from Thailand.

10. Draft Your Love: Scrapped Without a Rewrite
Both lead actresses signed with another company, and no news followed about recasting. To make matters worse, Rizzup Studio deleted most of their posts about the series.
Although no official statement appeared, the signs point to full abandonment. This adds Draft Your Love to the long list of cancelled GL series with no clear future.

Still, Thanks Thailand
Yes, it stings when stories disappear before they get told. But unlike some places, Thailand keeps pushing forward. Studios announce new GL series almost every month, showing real resilience and a strong commitment to representation.
So while cancellations hurt, they don’t close the door. Let’s stay curious, hopeful, and vocal, because every story deserves a chance to shine.
